One of the main activities of the KAMPS is organizing free medical camps for providing treatment to the poor patients in different parts of the country. Professor M. A. Samad, from his thinking of serving the poor patients who are deprived of health care, started organizing Free Medical Camp at Tangail in 2005. Firstly, he personally used to visit Tangail sometimes when poor patients of the surrounding areas came to him for treatment. Then gradually the initiative took a formal shape. To make the initiative more extensive, Professor Samad started arranging Free Medical Camp where thousands of poor patients gathered to get treatment while a good number of Specialist Doctors, Nurses and Technicians went to Tangail from Dhaka to treat the patients for a daylong. This was fixed on February 21st with the spirit of showing honor to the veteran martyred Language soldiers of the country. Since then the FMC is arranged every year on the same day and at the same venue in front of the ‘Talim Ghar’, Hatibandha in Shakhipur.

Every year on an average 3 to 4 thousands of poor patients gather at the FMC venue as they are informed through announcing and poster all over in Tangail. The patients are also distributed with necessary medicines free of cost and prescribed Lab tests are also done completely free. Since the beginning, about 1,00,000 poor patients have been given free treatment at the FMC at Tangail. Not only in Tangail KAMPS also organized FMC in Noakhali, Chandpur, Shariatpur, and different places in Dhaka.
