KAMPS conducts surveys on kidneys and kidney diseases among school and college students, villagers, and slum dwellers who spontaneously participate in KAMPS survey programs. The programs clearly show how many people remain unaware of kidney disease.
KAMPS has been developing a data bank on the overall kidney situation of the country. The data bank is still limited, but work is underway to widen survey activities across the country.
KAMPS has plans to conduct nationwide surveys to find out the exact prevalence and incidence of CKD, identify the main causes of CKD, and understand ways to prevent kidney failure.
